Configure Beetel 450BXI with MTNL Setting

This is my First blog post.
previously i have airtel wifi connection in my home. but i disconnect due to some reason.
i have beetel 450bxi adsl2+router and i want to use with mtnl connection.
so there i will show you how you configure your beetel 450bxi adsl2+router with mtnl setting.




Follow These Few Step.

1. Connect Your Modem To Pc with LAN cable.
2. Open Web browser and enter http://192.168.1.1/
3. Enter User Name - admin and password - password


4. Click on Advance Setup Tab

5.Then Click on WAN.
6. Remove All previous Setting (as shown in figure).

 7. Click on Add.

 8. Change VPI=0 and VCI=32. for MTNL and click on NEXT.


9. In Connection Type Select PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE).

10. Enter username= your mtnl telphone number and password =is your CA number.( find on your mtnl bill)and Click Next.


 11. Select Enable NAT and Enable Firwall.
 12. View WAN Setup Summary and Click Save button.
 13. Last Step Click on Save & Reboot button.

  1. Thanks a lot anurag... i have configured this successfully after infinite unsuccessful attempts that i tried earlier. i had a router behind router sort of configuration and was not able to connect my mobile device with the wifi. but now its fixed. thanks again

  3. I am unable to open the page 192.168.1.1
    What may be the possible reasons can u advise.

    Tried using multiple laptops also

  6. Firstly thanks Anurag, the post is really amazing and helpful. Could you provide the link for your second post?
    I was able to set up internet with the same beetel router with the LAN cable but unable to figure out the wireless part, I'll try google but any troubleshooting tips will be helpful.

    2. Go to Management >> Access Control>> Password
    3. Select User Name, Type old password and New one which you want to Set
